Event Description: On November 11, an Langston Hughes elementary school is going to have an aluminum can collection at their school and donate all cans to Cans for the Community in recognition of ARD. On November 14th, Cans for the Community, KU Environs, several members of the KU English Dept, will be out recycling cans from tailgaters at the last home KU football game. Several fraternity houses will also be promoting recycling. We hope to collect a record number of cans.
